In many ways, Ian Frayne had no choice but to become a storyteller.
From a young age he participated in the bedtime stories told by his creative parents and grandparents. Growing up, he was the narrator of many neighbourhood games, leading his friends on wild adventures through their suburbs. Finding wonder dwelling in the forests.
As he began to learn more about the world, he pursued an acting career and quickly rose in the ranks at his community theatre. At his high school in Walnut Grove, he was awarded top student in his writing class. After secondary school he wrote, produced, and started in numerous short films around Vancouver where he still works as an actor.
He is currently studying Creative Writing and English at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. In addition to pursuing a BA degree, Ian is currently working on writing a smattering of original screenplays, a stage play, as well as a collection of short stories.
He lives and works on the unceded territory of the Kwantlen, Semiahmoo, Matsqui and Katzie people.
